# AUCTION NEMESIS – SHIPPING & LOCAL PICKUP POLICY

At Auction Nemesis, our primary business model is built around local asset liquidation and warehouse recycling. Because of the heavy, fragile, or unpredictable nature of estate and commercial liquidations, please review our strict shipping and pickup rules below before placing a bid.

### 1. LOCAL PHYSICAL PICKUP (DEFAULT OPTION)
Unless explicitly stated otherwise in an individual lot description, all items won are strictly available for local, on-site physical pickup at our designated Canton warehouse facility.
* **The Pickup Window:** Winning bidders must physically remove their items during our scheduled 48-hour pickup window on the Friday or Saturday immediately following the auction’s close.
* **Buyer Responsibility:** Buyers are entirely responsible for the dismantling, lifting, loading, and securing of their purchases. Please bring your own packing materials (boxes, bubble wrap) and moving equipment (dollies, straps), as well as loading assistance for heavy assets.
* **Forfeiture:** Any items not physically removed within 48 hours of auction close—even if fully paid for online—will be considered permanently abandoned and forfeited back to Auction Nemesis without refund.

### 2. SHIPPING ELIGIBILITY & POST-SALE INVOICING
We understand that out-of-state or non-local bidders may require shipping. We accommodate shipping *only* under the following strict parameters:
* **Calculated Post-Sale:** Shipping costs are **NOT** included in your initial checkout. If you require shipping, you must select the **"Shipping Invoiced Separately (Calculated Post-Sale)"** rate at checkout, which displays as a $0.00 placeholder.
* **The Initial Payment:** Your initial automatic payment capture at auction close covers the final hammer price, the 10% buyer’s premium, and applicable sales tax for the asset only. It does not cover postage.
* **The Secondary Shipping Invoice:** Once the auction event concludes, our warehouse team will securely consolidate and pack your items into a single parcel. We weigh and measure the package to pull real-time, commercial carrier rates (USPS/UPS). We will then email you a secondary Shopify Invoice reflecting the exact cost of the shipping label.

### 3. SHIPPING TIMELINES & PURGATORY HOLD
* **Payment Deadline:** You have forty-eight (48) hours from receipt of your secondary shipping invoice to authorize and pay the shipping charge.
* **Shipping Purgatory:** Items will be held securely at our facility and **will not depart until the secondary shipping invoice is paid in full**.
* **Abandonment Due to Non-Payment:** If you fail to pay the secondary shipping invoice within seven (7) calendar days of receipt, your items will be declared abandoned under our standard forfeiture rules. Auction Nemesis will retain your initial asset payment to cover administration and restocking costs, and the lot will be resold or disposed of.

### 4. CARRIER TIERING, DIMENSIONAL WEIGHT, & INSURANCE
* **Default Carrier Tiers:** Shipped parcels are dispatched primarily via **USPS Ground Advantage** or **USPS Priority Mail**, utilizing discounted commercial base pricing.
* **Dimensional (DIM) Weight:** For lightweight but large or awkwardly shaped lots, shipping prices are calculated by carriers using dimensional weight (Volume divided by 139) rather than physical weight. Buyers are fully responsible for these carrier-enforced pricing tiers.
* **Tracking & Liability:** Every shipment includes standard tracking and up to $100 of built-in carrier insurance. Auction Nemesis is a manufacturing and liquidation service provider; we are not a shipping courier. Once a package is scanned into the possession of the USPS or UPS, Auction Nemesis releases all liability for carrier transit delays, lost parcels, or damages incurred during transit.
